Paul Knoblich holds a Master of Business Administration and brings an extensive background as a tech executive to his role as Vice President of Business Development at October Effect Ltd.

Paul’s expertise is rooted in managing highly complex client relationships across the enterprise, systems integrator, and public sectors—including Civilian, DoD, Legislative, and Judicial branches, as well as state, local, and higher education sectors—along with middle-market enterprises and closely held businesses. Having perfected this highly consultative, solution-driven process over years of managing intricate enterprise cycles, he focuses on cultivating deep, long-term relationships and meticulously pairing individuals, closely held family businesses, and corporate leaders with tailored strategies.

For Paul, joining October Effect Ltd. is deeply personal. Having been a client of the firm’s advisors for over 20 years—long before the firm’s official founding—he has experienced firsthand how the right strategy helps a family navigate life’s ups and downs while protecting their long-term dreams and goals. He is passionate about connecting new clients with the appropriate experts at the firm to build their ideal wealth management roadmaps, ensuring they receive the same verifiable value and unwavering fiduciary trust that he has relied on for decades.



Paul is married and has a son and a daughter, along with a family dog. He is proud to call Coastal Virginia his home. Deeply engaged in his local community, he enjoys organizing activities as a Cub Scout leader and working as a volunteer oyster gardener. Outside of the office, Paul spends his time as a “sports dad”—shuttling his kids to and from their activities—and enjoys hiking, fishing, and boating.
